El Salvador’s Labor Market Expands with 32,000 New Jobs on the Horizon.

El Salvador anticipates the creation of approximately 32,000 new jobs in 2025, according to Economy Minister María Luisa Hayem. The projection comes from a survey conducted by the National Institute for Training and Education (INCAF), which gathered data from a sample of 820 companies.

Minister Hayem highlighted that the country is experiencing an expansion in key sectors such as technology, commerce, logistics, textiles, and tourism. She also emphasized the role of new investments, noting that the recent inauguration of a state-of-the-art data center by President Nayib Bukele has attracted 43 new technology companies, further boosting employment and services.

The INCAF, established to replace the Salvadoran Institute for Professional Training (INSAFORP), is now leading efforts to enhance technical and vocational training, aiming to strengthen the country’s workforce and economic competitiveness.

The survey not only highlights growing job opportunities but also reinforces confidence in El Salvador’s economic potential, driven by strategic sectors that promise sustained development.
