El Salvador continues to strengthen its strategic partnerships on the international stage. The latest key partner is India, as both nations work together to boost cooperation, investment, and infrastructure development.
Foreign Minister Alexandra Hill Tinoco held a meeting with India’s Minister of State for External Affairs and Textiles, Pabitra Margherita. The discussions centered around economic cooperation, with El Salvador expressing interest in attracting investments in renewable energy and innovation.
In a significant step towards deepening bilateral relations, the two countries signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance collaboration in the fields of innovation and cybersecurity.
As part of this growing partnership, Minister Pabitra Margherita presented a donation of essential medicines, medical equipment, and other necessary supplies to El Salvador. Furthermore, both leaders reviewed the progress of the Early Warning System pilot project, developed with Indian support, which aims to improve disaster preparedness in the region.
This engagement marks another milestone in El Salvador’s efforts to foster strong international relations and promote economic growth through strategic alliances.
