The National Palace was abuzz with cultural pride last Saturday, August 24, as it hosted a captivating celebration of International Folklore Day. The National Dance School took center stage, delivering a breathtaking performance that showcased the depth and beauty of local traditions.
Attendees were treated to dynamic renditions of the «Emplumados de Cacaopera» and «Allegory of the Plaza,» which depicted the rich heritage associated with the Virgen del Tránsito. In addition to the performances at the National Palace, the celebration continued with a vibrant parade through the Historic Center of San Salvador.
