Data Trust Launch to Position El Salvador as Regional Tech Hub.

President Nayib Bukele is propelling El Salvador into the technological spotlight with the inauguration of Data Trust, the region’s second-largest data center. This state-of-the-art facility offers colocations, public and private cloud services, data storage, and security systems to institutions, the financial sector, and private companies.

«This data center ensures the security of company projects and features a public cloud and comprehensive services for both public and private sectors. Along with the Law for the Promotion of Innovation and Technological Manufacturing, this inauguration aims to make El Salvador the technological hub of the region,» stated President Bukele.

Located in Ciudad Arce, La Libertad Centro, Data Trust meets the highest global standards, ensuring maximum security for business and institutional data. The $30 million investment includes public and private cloud services with robust security and reliability.

President Bukele also announced the Economic Plan to boost family economies, focusing first on food sustainability with a 10-year strategy, eliminating tariffs on essential food items, and establishing a new central market in Soyapango. The second phase will focus on promoting technological innovation and manufacturing.
