Soosung Engineering, a Korean company, is carrying out the feasibility study for the construction of the Pacific Train

For the government, this project is part of the economic growth route that the country needs to turn it into an international logistics center that leads connectivity in the Central American region.

The technical study is financed with non-reimbursable funds granted by the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI). The South Korean Trust Fund (KTF) will support the study.

Anliker also referred to the construction of the Pacific airport; in this regard, he commented that there is progress and that it is expected that the feasibility study will be delivered to the institution this month. Later, work will be done on the design of the air terminal.
