El Salvador’s aviation industry is experiencing growing demand for skilled professionals as the country continues to expand its civil aviation sector and strengthen its connectivity.

During an interview on YSKL radio’s Punto de Vista, Civil Aviation Authority Executive Director Homero Morales highlighted the increasing need for trained cabin crew, pilots, and aircraft maintenance technicians to support the sector’s development.

Morales also pointed to Aeroman, El Salvador’s major aircraft maintenance organization, as an important source of employment and specialized technical opportunities. The company operates a large-scale maintenance facility in the country and has continued to develop its workforce alongside demand for aircraft maintenance services.

The broader aviation ecosystem is also expanding. According to recent information from the Civil Aviation Authority, El Salvador currently has 13 authorized aerodromes, 25 authorized airlines, and 21 aviation schools, reflecting an increasingly diverse industry that requires specialized human capital.

With aviation infrastructure, connectivity, and technical services developing simultaneously, the demand for qualified professionals is becoming an increasingly important component of El Salvador’s aviation sector.
