El Salvador to Invest $12.67 Million to Equip Public Early Childhood Schools

El Salvador is set to invest $12.67 million, with support from the World Bank, in a national initiative aimed at improving learning conditions in public early childhood education centers and benefiting approximately 246,000 children.

The program will provide educational resources designed to promote learning through play, creativity, and early development. As part of the initiative, authorities plan to distribute 375,000 books, 195,000 musical instruments, and a range of play-based learning materials to public early childhood centers.

The investment seeks to strengthen educational environments during the formative years by giving children greater access to books, music, creative activities, and resources that encourage active participation in the learning process.

With support from the World Bank, the initiative represents a significant investment in early childhood education in El Salvador, focusing on expanding access to educational materials and fostering more enriching learning experiences for young children nationwide.
