President Bukele Hosts Bitcoin Supper to Celebrate the Success of the First Bitcoin Histórico Conference

El Salvador concluded a historic week for digital innovation as President Nayib Bukele met with prominent Bitcoin advocates to celebrate the success of the inaugural Bitcoin Histórico conference, held in the revitalized Historic Center of San Salvador.

The gathering—referred to as the Bitcoin Supper Club at CAPRES—brought together key figures from the global Bitcoin community, highlighting El Salvador’s growing role as a leading hub for digital finance, technological innovation, and crypto-driven development.

According to the National Bitcoin Office (ONBTC), the dinner marked an important milestone as the country continues strengthening its Bitcoin ecosystem through education, investment, and high-level dialogue. The Bitcoin Histórico conference, held earlier this week, showcased El Salvador’s achievements since becoming the world’s first nation to adopt Bitcoin as legal tender, while also bringing together international leaders, investors, developers, and educators.

The event reaffirmed El Salvador’s commitment to expanding Bitcoin-related initiatives, supporting economic growth, and positioning the country as one of the most dynamic destinations for blockchain innovation. With the strong participation of global experts and the continued support of the government, Bitcoin Histórico has set a solid foundation for future editions and deeper international collaboration.
