San Salvador’s Historic Center filled with color, laughter, and creativity this Wednesday as families and children took part in recreational activities during Bitcoin Histórico, a national celebration that blends culture, education, and technology.

Children enjoyed face painting, coloring stations, and family-friendly games designed to promote togetherness and a safe, joyful atmosphere in the heart of the capital. Meanwhile, Plaza Gerardo Barrios hosted the distribution of more than 21,000 pupusas, alongside conferences and talks scheduled throughout the day.

Organized by the National Bitcoin Office (@bitcoinofficesv), the event highlights Bitcoin’s role as a tool for economic freedom and national transformation while fostering community engagement through cultural and educational experiences.

Families attending Bitcoin Histórico are experiencing a festive environment where El Salvador’s traditions meet innovation—showcasing how the country continues to merge its rich heritage with a vision for the future.
