El Salvador Strengthens Cooperation with Kuwait Fund for Sustainable Growth

For the first time, El Salvador received a delegation from the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, marking a milestone in the nation’s efforts to expand global partnerships and attract sustainable investment.

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alexandra Hill Tinoco, held a meeting with His Excellency Waleed Albahar, Acting Director General of the Kuwait Fund, to discuss priority areas of cooperation. The talks focused on infrastructure, education, water and sanitation, health, technology, and renewable energy.

Hill Tinoco emphasized a strategic proposal for renewable energy, supported by the Kuwait Fund, aimed at promoting sustainable development while ensuring mutual benefits. “El Salvador is today a safe, open, and attractive country for international investment,” the minister affirmed, thanking His Excellency Waleed Albahar for his visit.

This historic encounter reflects El Salvador’s vision to build strong, long-term partnerships that deliver tangible progress for the Salvadoran people while reinforcing the country’s position as a reliable destination for global cooperation.
