During El Salvador’s traditional August holidays, the Ministry of Labor has deployed inspection teams across the country to safeguard the rights of employees working during the festive period.
These inspections are being carried out nationwide to ensure that businesses comply with labor laws, particularly for those who continue working while much of the population is on vacation. The Ministry confirmed its ongoing efforts through an official statement on social media.
“In compliance with the labor regulatory framework during the holiday period, our teams are visiting workplaces, as stated by Minister @RolandoCastroSv,” the Ministry of Labor posted.
Inspectors are verifying several key points: respect for labor rights, proper compensation for holidays, and the correct distribution of tips.
By closely monitoring these practices, the Ministry aims to protect workers and promote fair treatment across all sectors during one of the country’s most important festive seasons.
