El Salvador Engages with 140 Nations at Global Diplomacy Forum in Türkiye.

El Salvador reaffirmed its commitment to multilateralism and international cooperation by taking part in the fourth edition of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, recently held in the Turkish city of the same name.

The event, spearheaded by the Government of Türkiye, brought together over 20 heads of state and government, as well as dozens of foreign ministers and representatives from more than 140 countries. Participants, including voices from academia, the private sector, civil society, and think tanks, engaged in diplomatic dialogue aimed at addressing shared global challenges.

Throughout the three-day summit, nearly 50 sessions explored critical regional and international issues, such as climate change, counterterrorism, humanitarian aid, digitalization, food security, and artificial intelligence.

Guided by the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the direction of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, this year’s forum sought to reposition diplomacy amid today’s evolving global landscape.

El Salvador was represented by Ambassador Héctor Jaime, who used the opportunity to strengthen the country’s role in high-level global discussions. “This forum has allowed us to deepen ties with Türkiye and other nations, and to contribute to meaningful dialogue around the challenges our regions and the world currently face,” said Jaime.

Through its participation, El Salvador continues to support international collaboration and solutions that promote shared progress and stability.
