The Metropolitan School has launched a specialized educational workshop aimed at professionals from both the public and private sectors. The initiative was announced by the Executive Director, Luis Rodríguez, marking a significant step in technical training on fluvial environments.

The workshop, titled «Simulation of Constructions in Fluvial Environments, Using Software and Physical Models,» is led by Yirí Sebastián, a specialist from the Geological Survey of the Czech Republic, and Dr. Álex Chávez, a Geological Engineering expert from the Territorial Intelligence Unit of OPAMSS.
Participants receive in-depth knowledge on geology and geomorphology, river and stream dynamics, and practical simulations of their behavior. The training includes hands-on exercises using specialized software and a scaled physical model with the River Table, enhancing technical understanding and application.
This initiative strengthens expertise in environmental and territorial management, fostering international collaboration between El Salvador and the Czech Republic.
