The Consulate General of El Salvador in Milan recently extended its full support to PROMOITSA, a commercial entity that organized the highly anticipated First Coffee Tasting of 2025. Led by expert coffee taster Oscar Estrada, the event showcased the rich world of Salvadoran coffee, diving deep into its origins and significance.

Held in Milan, the tasting allowed attendees to savor and distinguish the unique flavors of various Salvadoran coffee varieties, complemented by traditional sweet bread from El Salvador. Oscar Estrada, a renowned Salvadoran coffee taster, played a key role in explaining the different types of coffee and their importance to El Salvador’s economy.

PROMOITSA representatives expressed their satisfaction with the event, highlighting the growing recognition of Salvadoran coffee. “With this event, we reaffirm our commitment to positioning Salvadoran coffee as a key player in Italy. This is just the beginning of an exciting journey, and we are thrilled for what’s ahead!” said the representatives.

Vidal Tobar, Consul General of El Salvador in Milan, also praised the quality of Salvadoran coffee. “It is our mission to promote Salvadoran exports, which is why we are proud to support PROMOITSA’s first coffee tasting event. This initiative was aimed at our diaspora, showcasing the exceptional quality of our national product,” he emphasized.
