In a bid to establish a stronghold in the Salvadoran market, Spanish surveillance technology company Magline is considering making El Salvador its operational hub for the Latin American market. Magline, a renowned firm with over 15 years of expertise in manufacturing high-tech unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), expressed its interest in the Salvadoran market during a meeting with the Commissioner for Strategic Projects, Cristian Flores.

Representatives from Magline highlighted their intention to enter the Salvadoran territory with products designed for maximum security operations, agricultural intelligence, and emergency management. The company aims to leverage its experience to contribute to various sectors within the country.
During the meeting with Commissioner Flores, it was disclosed that Magline is not only interested in commercial endeavors but also in supporting President Nayib Bukele’s security strategies through nationwide intelligent surveillance.
In an official statement, Commissioner Flores emphasized, «The efficiency of President Nayib Bukele’s Territorial Control Plan and Exception Regime will reach new heights with the implementation of intelligence provided by global leaders in the fight against international terrorism.»
Miguel Gómez, the Technical Director of Magline, elucidated that the integration of their systems into security operations enables effective crime control in both urban and low-density population areas. Magline’s services extend beyond product delivery to include training for state personnel in the maintenance and operation of unmanned aerial systems, aiming to establish a training center that stands out in Latin America.
