President Nayib Bukele meets with the president of Interpol at the Presidential House.

The president, Nayib Bukele, recently held a meeting with the president of Interpol, Ahmed Naser Al-Raisi, to establish new initiatives in the field of public security.

“I had the pleasure of meeting with the Hon. Mr. Najib Bukele, President of the Republic of El Salvador, where we discussed partnership mechanisms between INTERPOL and El Salvador and ways to implement new police initiatives that contribute to fighting crime and improving public security in the country,” he posted on Twitter.

In addition to President Nayib Bukele, the meeting was attended by the Minister of Justice and Public Security, Gustavo Villatoro, and the director of the National Civil Police, Mauricio Arriza Chicas.
