El Salvador is the country with the least corruption in the region.

This achievement is attributed to the strategy of zero tolerance in cases of corruption at all levels and the non-prescription of crimes in order to be able to judge officials who disrespect the law.

In the study carried out by CID Gallup through telephone calls to 1,200 citizens of each country, El Salvador obtained the lowest rate of corruption, followed by Chile with 14% and Mexico with 21%.

The integral transformation that the country is undergoing is thanks to the efforts of the government of the President, Nayib Bukele, to provide Salvadorans with a dignified and safe country.

“Money is enough when no one steals,” President Bukele pointed out, before the publication of the results of said regional study.
