A Dominican airline is interested in establishing El Salvador as a hub

The Presidential Commissioner for Strategic Projects, Cristian Flores, assured that there are advanced negotiations with a Dominican airline interested in establishing El Salvador as a hub.

«Those are the negotiations that the President of the Republic, Nayib Bukele, has had up to this moment» — he explained.

Flores confirmed that the security climate in the country now makes any company want to invest in El Salvador.

«The actions implemented by the President of the Republic, Nayib Bukele, in terms of security benefit the business climate, with an effect of confidence, investment opportunities, jobs, and more country projects» he stressed.

El Salvador would become the airport used by the Dominican airline as a hub and from where flights would depart to different countries.

The Dominican company would be the thirteenth to operate in Salvadoran territory, where it would also seek to promote tourism.
