Cooperation agreements and new exports were obtained by the Salvadoran embassy in the United Kingdom and the Salvadoran Coffee Council.

The ambassador of El Salvador in the United Kingdom, together with the Salvadoran Coffee Council, met with the president of the British Coffee Association, Andrew Kerr, to talk about different initiatives to be developed between both nations.

At the meeting, the officials discussed details on areas of cooperation and agreed to coordinate activities such as trainings, coffee tastings, and seminars.

At a different event, different varieties of Salvadoran coffee were presented to representatives of the Irish coffee and tea company, Bewleys Ireland. During the event, they tasted two varieties of coffee: Bourbon and Pacamara.

These actions, promoted in conjunction with the Salvadoran Coffee Council, seek to promote the trade and consumption of our golden grain in new markets.

For their part, Bewleys representatives expressed that our product has high quality standards, as well as their interest in importing it.
