The President of the Republic, Nayib Bukele, inaugurated the expansion of the passenger air terminal at El Salvador International Airport “San Óscar Arnulfo Romero y Galdámez”.
With this expansion, the country will become an international benchmark by having the most modern air terminal in the region, which will have the capacity to meet a demand of more than 5 million travelers a year.
According to the Head of State, the expansion of the passenger air terminal is the second economic boost out of ten, that he recently announced.
“We are going to make these 10 economic impulses so that economic growth is triggered again. We will not only have a growth of only 3.2 as the IMF predicts, it will be much higher” — assured the Salvadoran president.
According to the Governor, the first way to detect these economic impulses is through public works. The second is the generation of employment, and the third is the indirect benefit. So people go spend their earnings in the stores.
