Türkiye will support health projects at the Benjamin Bloom Children’s Hospital

The Turkish delegation that arrived in the country on Monday visited the facilities of the Benjamin Bloom National Children’s Hospital on the same day to learn about the health actions developed in favor of early childhood.

The director of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) in Mexico, Fatih Abdi Çetin, arrived at the hospital in the company of other officials to strengthen cooperation ties with these projects. Among the actions that will be carried out only in this hospital with the support of Turkey are the strengthening of human resources and the development of the nutritional therapy and support unit.

The visit corresponds to the second day of work of the representatives of the Turkish delegation in the country, since on the first day they learned about four projects that will be carried out under the national early childhood policy, such as the baby centers and the training of professionals.

The support of the Asian country is the result of the efforts made by President Nayib Bukele and the first lady, Gabriela de Bukele, during the state visit that they completed in January 2022. In this sense, Fatih Adbi Çetin commented that Turkey supports the growth of the economies of partner countries, such as El Salvador, through human development programs.
