El Salvador is preparing to bring together international Bitcoin developers, educators and entrepreneurs for Bitcoin Histórico, a November gathering that places the country’s experience with Bitcoin alongside the development of circular economies and new financial technologies.
Scheduled for November 11–12 in San Salvador’s Historic Center, the event is being presented as a meeting point for the international Bitcoin community and El Salvador’s evolving digital-asset ecosystem. The program is expected to feature discussions on sovereign Bitcoin adoption, self-custody, Bitcoin education and circular economies.
The event also reflects the continued international interest surrounding El Salvador’s Bitcoin experiment. Participants from different parts of the global Bitcoin ecosystem are expected to converge in the country to discuss practical applications of the technology and experiences emerging from Bitcoin-based communities.
Bitcoin Histórico will form part of a broader November program combining Bitcoin, artificial intelligence and entrepreneurship. The convergence of these sectors reinforces El Salvador’s effort to position its technology agenda around communities, innovation and real-world applications rather than cryptocurrency trading alone.
For international participants, the gathering offers an opportunity to examine El Salvador’s experience directly, while for the country, it provides another platform to connect its local Bitcoin ecosystem with developers and projects operating internationally.
