El Salvador continues to attract strategic investment as Invenergy and Energía del Pacífico inaugurated new offices in the country, reaffirming their long-term commitment to supporting the nation’s energy sector and economic development.
According to Minister of Economy María Luisa Hayem, the expansion reflects investor confidence in El Salvador’s business environment and highlights the important role both companies play in strengthening the country’s energy infrastructure.
Through its natural gas-fired power generation, Invenergy currently supplies more than 30% of El Salvador’s national electricity demand, contributing to a stable and diversified energy matrix that supports households, businesses, and productive industries.
The investment also underscores the importance of expanding cleaner and more reliable energy sources to sustain economic activity, attract new business opportunities, and enhance the country’s competitiveness.
As El Salvador continues promoting investment and infrastructure development, partnerships with leading international energy companies remain key to fostering sustainable growth, improving energy security, and creating a stronger foundation for future economic expansion.
