El Salvador continues advancing one of the largest education modernization efforts in its recent history, with more than 1,100 schools renovated nationwide under the government’s “Two Schools a Day” initiative, according to Karla Trigueros.

The Minister of Education also confirmed that the distribution of school supply packages has reached 100% nationwide, ensuring that Salvadoran students and families received educational materials for the academic year.

According to Karla Trigueros, the administration is focused on creating modern, safe, and technologically equipped learning environments that support student development and improve educational conditions across the country.

Authorities explained that the renovation plan includes upgraded classrooms, engineering solutions, infrastructure improvements, and technological enhancements designed to provide optimal educational spaces for students and teachers.

Officials also highlighted that El Salvador has more than 5,000 schools nationwide and reaffirmed the government’s objective of fully renovating every educational center in the country as part of a long-term national transformation strategy.

The education initiative forms part of broader reforms promoted under the administration of President Nayib Bukele, aimed at modernizing public infrastructure and expanding opportunities for future generations.

Observers note that improvements in school infrastructure, combined with the nationwide delivery of educational support packages, continue strengthening access to education and learning conditions for thousands of Salvadoran families.
