President Nayib Bukele Unveils New Prosecutor’s Office Headquarters as El Salvador Enters New Era of Law and Order

President Nayib Bukele and Attorney General Rodolfo Delgado inaugurated the new headquarters of the Attorney General’s Office of El Salvador, a project aimed at strengthening the country’s judicial and investigative capabilities as El Salvador enters what authorities describe as a new stage focused on law, order, and institutional modernization.

According to officials, the new infrastructure will provide greater operational capacity, technological tools, and investment resources designed to accelerate investigations and improve the administration of justice throughout the country. Authorities emphasized that strengthening judicial institutions remains a key pillar in the nation’s ongoing security transformation.

During the inauguration ceremony, Attorney General Rodolfo Delgado highlighted the strategic coordination promoted under President Bukele’s administration, stating that cooperation among institutions within the Expanded Security Cabinet has contributed to unprecedented security achievements in the country’s history.

Officials recalled that, in previous years, criminal gangs exercised territorial control across large portions of El Salvador, operating parallel structures that affected public security and the daily lives of citizens. The government noted that the work carried out by prosecutors and investigators has been fundamental in dismantling criminal organizations and restoring stability.

President Bukele stated that El Salvador is now entering a new phase beyond the reduction of violent crime, with the objective of becoming a nation characterized by the highest levels of public order and respect for the rule of law in the hemisphere. He emphasized that challenges such as petty theft, scams, and environmental violations must also be addressed as part of the country’s evolving security strategy.

“This Prosecutor’s Office has been one of the fundamental pillars behind the greatest transformation our country has experienced,” the president affirmed, adding that prosecutors will play a central role in consolidating El Salvador’s next stage of development.

The inauguration of the new headquarters reflects the government’s broader efforts to modernize institutions, reinforce judicial capacity, and continue strengthening national security as El Salvador seeks to position itself as one of the safest and most orderly countries in the region.
