El Salvador’s western region is set to welcome a major commercial development with the announcement of Plaza Mundo Ahuachapán, projected to open in 2027.

The project, led by Grupo Agrisal, will feature an expansive 28,000 m² construction area, housing more than 100 shops and kiosks designed to diversify retail options and attract visitors from across the region.

To meet customer demand, the complex will include approximately 790 parking spaces, ensuring accessibility and convenience for shoppers while supporting the area’s growing commercial activity.

Beyond retail, Plaza Mundo Ahuachapán is expected to generate significant economic impact. The initiative aims to boost local employment opportunities and strengthen business growth in Ahuachapán and surrounding communities.
