El Salvador’s renowned coffee has officially entered the Moroccan market this week, as Dahab Coffee launched a new menu featuring beverages made exclusively with beans from Salvadoran farms. The move marks a milestone for the country’s coffee sector, expanding its presence in northern Africa and highlighting the international demand for its high-quality production.

With the new “Café de El Salvador” line, customers at Dahab Coffee can now enjoy espressos, lattes, cappuccinos, and cold brews crafted entirely from Salvadoran beans. To promote the launch, the chain produced a commercial showing large crowds filling one of its shops in search of a cup of Salvadoran coffee, a scene that reflects the company’s strong expectations for the product.

This commercial partnership was born after a visit by Dahab representatives to El Salvador, where the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Salvadoran Coffee Institute (ISC), and the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAG) organized tastings and tours of local farms. The goal was to introduce the visitors to the country’s production processes, coffee varieties, and producers, fostering direct relationships with Salvadoran growers.
Dahab celebrated the launch with an event attended by Alejandra Samour, Chargé d’Affaires of El Salvador’s Embassy in Morocco. “We celebrate the arrival of Salvadoran coffee in Morocco, a significant step that strengthens commercial ties between both destinations and opens the door to new business opportunities,” she stated, adding that the initiative positions El Salvador in a competitive and emerging market. According to Dahab Coffee’s website, the chain currently operates more than 100 points of sale across 21 Moroccan cities, offering considerable potential for the expansion of Salvadoran coffee.
