Punta Mango’s Surf City 2 Welcomes 25 Nations for ALAS Global Finals 2025.

More than 300 athletes from over 25 countries are gathering in El Salvador as the ALAS Global Finals 2025 officially begin today, November 17, and run through November 22 at Surf City 2 in Punta Mango. The event marks the final stop of the ALAS circuit and brings together top surfers from Asia, Europe, and the Americas, along with several invited historical champions.

For the first time, the competition will award the ALAS Global Finals trophy, adding prestige to a tournament already recognized across the surfing community. Organizers highlighted the importance of the event for the country’s international visibility, noting that “this championship strengthens El Salvador’s global presence by positioning it in international media and on major surfing platforms across the region and the world.”

The competition features six categories: Open, SUP Race, SUP Surf, Longboard, Sub-14, and Sub-18. With world-class waves and a growing reputation as a premier surf destination, Punta Mango continues to solidify El Salvador’s place on the global surfing map.
