El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele Leads Global Approval Ratings at 91%, According to New International Data

El Salvador continues to stand out on the world stage as President Nayib Bukele once again ranks as the most approved leader globally, according to the latest consolidated data from Morning Consult Political Intelligence, WCIOM, and Gallup. The findings, published by The Data Hub, place Bukele at the top of the list with an exceptional 91% approval rating, far surpassing leaders from major global economies.

The new ranking highlights how El Salvador’s governance model—driven by security reforms, digital innovation, and economic modernization—continues to draw international attention and strong domestic support. Bukele leads the global list ahead of Russia’s Vladimir Putin (79%), India’s Narendra Modi (72%), Australia’s Anthony Albanese (57%), Canada’s Mark Carney (56%), and Argentina’s Javier Milei (55%).

Other leaders included in the comparative index are Mexico’s Claudia Sheinbaum (55%), the United States’ Donald Trump (45%), Italy’s Giorgia Meloni (40%), Switzerland’s Karin Keller-Sutter (39%), Belgium’s Bart de Wever (38%), Poland’s Donald Tusk (38%), and Brazil’s Lula da Silva (37%).

Lower in the rankings are Sweden’s Ulf Kristersson (33%), Turkey’s Recep Tayyip Erdogan (33%), South Africa’s Cyril Ramaphosa (32%), the UK’s Keir Starmer (26%), Japan’s Shigeru Ishiba (23%), the Czech Republic’s Petr Fiala (20%), and France’s Emmanuel Macron (17%).

This latest dataset reinforces El Salvador’s prominent position in global political analysis, showcasing the country as a case study in rapid transformation and leadership approval.
