El Salvador Showcases Innovation and Culture at the International Creative District Congress 2025

El Salvador has inaugurated the International Creative District Congress 2025, a flagship initiative led by the Office of the First Lady, Gabriela de Bukele, to promote innovation, cultural identity, and creative entrepreneurship.

The event began with the Creative Entrepreneurship Fair, where national and international creators are setting up booths to present their products and services to the public. The opening ceremony will take place tonight at 8:00 p.m. in Plaza Libertad, in the heart of San Salvador’s Historic Center.

Over the next three days, the National Library of El Salvador (BINAES) will become the creative and cultural epicenter of the congress, hosting exhibitions, conferences, and networking sessions that connect global innovators and local talent.

According to organizers, the #CreativeDistrict experience is already underway, with participants receiving their welcome kits and preparing for activities that highlight El Salvador’s growing leadership in the global creative economy. The congress underscores the government’s vision of fostering a dynamic environment for art, technology, and sustainable development.
