Bitcoin Leaders Highlight El Salvador’s Role in Building the Next Generation of Engineers

During the Bitcoin Histórico event in El Salvador, global Bitcoin leaders praised the nation’s growing ecosystem of innovation and education, emphasizing the development of the next generation of Bitcoin engineers.

At the Bitcoin Museum, Adam Gibson highlighted the remarkable work of CUBO+, a Salvadoran initiative dedicated to training skilled professionals in Bitcoin technology. “They are building the next generation of Bitcoin engineers,” Gibson noted, commending the program’s contribution to El Salvador’s digital transformation.

Other speakers, including Nicolás Burtey, Giacomo Zucco, and Nelson Inno from weSpark, underscored the country’s unique approach to technological sovereignty and practical learning. “We don’t need certification to speed up Bitcoin adoption,” they affirmed, describing the movement as a true renaissance of innovation and freedom.
