El Salvador will host one of the most anticipated events in the global Bitcoin community: Bitcoin Histórico, set to take place on November 12 and 13 in San Salvador.
Among the featured speakers is Ricardo Salinas Pliego, a renowned Mexican billionaire, entrepreneur, and author of The Bitcoin Enlightenment: Ending the Fiat Dark Age. Salinas, recognized as one of Latin America’s earliest Bitcoin advocates, will share his insights on the cultural and financial decline of fiat systems and outline strategies for leveraging Bitcoin as a tool for national and individual prosperity.
His presentation, titled as a “masterclass in economic liberty,” will take place at the National Palace, the same venue where El Salvador has hosted key events celebrating its pioneering role as the world’s first country to adopt Bitcoin as legal tender.
The event, organized by The Bitcoin Office of El Salvador, reaffirms the country’s commitment to advancing financial freedom, innovation, and digital economy leadership in the region.
