Historic Alliance: El Salvador Strengthens Regional Transformation with BCIE and OPEC Fund

El Salvador marked a historic moment for regional cooperation through a high-level meeting that reaffirmed the country’s path toward sustainable development and transformation. The meeting brought together President Nayib Bukele, Dr. Abdulhamid Alkhalifa, President of the OPEC Fund, and Alejandro Zelaya, Director for El Salvador at the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (BCIE).

During the event, both institutions expressed their strong commitment to supporting El Salvador’s economic and social progress, emphasizing collaboration as a key driver for national transformation.
