“This September 15th, we don’t just remember a date; we celebrate the independence we have begun to experience. We celebrate the freedom we have achieved, the unity of our people, and the faith in God that inspires us to continue building a better El Salvador,” President Bukele stated.
The message underscored the government’s focus on national unity, public safety, and faith-driven resilience, aligning the historic celebration with the progress El Salvador has made in recent years.
This year’s commemoration reinforced the importance of safeguarding the country’s achievements and continuing to build a more secure and prosperous nation for all Salvadorans.
