The Embassy of El Salvador in Saudi Arabia recently hosted a cultural and tourism event aimed at strengthening the ties of friendship between both nations. Guests enjoyed one of El Salvador’s most renowned exports, specialty coffee, paired with traditional Arab desserts. Our aromatic coffee delighted the audience with its flavor and fragrance, the Embassy highlighted.

The gathering also served to showcase El Salvador’s diverse tourist attractions, positioning the country as an increasingly attractive destination thanks to improvements in security and infrastructure. We want more Saudis to set their sights on our nation for vacation and travel plans, said Ambassador Ricardo Cucalón, who presided over the event.

In addition to tourism promotion, the Embassy provided information on the country’s favorable business climate, presenting El Salvador as a strategic partner for trade and investment. The event created opportunities for direct contact with Saudi distributors interested in importing Salvadoran coffee, while also sparking interest in exploring the country’s landscapes and culture.

The initiative brought together entrepreneurs, cultural managers, academics, and members of the Salvadoran diaspora in Saudi Arabia, reinforcing cultural exchange and opening doors for future cooperation.
