The U.S. Embassy in El Salvador officially welcomed Naomi Fellows as the new Chief Minister, who will serve as Chargé d’Affaires until the confirmation of a U.S. ambassador by the United States Senate.
A career diplomat with nearly 30 years of experience at the U.S. Department of State, Ms. Fellows will lead the embassy’s mission, overseeing U.S.–El Salvador relations, promoting cooperation in areas such as regional security, economic development, trade, and cultural exchange.
Her appointment ensures continuity in diplomatic efforts, reinforcing strong ties between the United States and El Salvador and supporting initiatives that benefit citizens, businesses, and regional stability.
