President Nayib Bukele of El Salvador holds the highest approval rating among world leaders, according to the latest figures shared by the World of Statistics (@stats_feed). The ranking, based on data from Morning Consult Political Intelligence, WCIOM, and Gallup, places Bukele at the top with a 91% approval rating, far ahead of other heads of state.

The data set compares approval ratings of 25 global leaders, positioning Bukele well above key figures such as Russia’s Vladimir Putin (80%), India’s Narendra Modi (78%), and Argentina’s Javier Milei (60%). In contrast, approval ratings for leaders of several major economies remain below 40%, including Germany’s Friedrich Merz (36%), France’s Emmanuel Macron (18%), and the United Kingdom’s Keir Starmer (27%).

The figures highlight the strong domestic support for Bukele’s leadership, especially in areas such as public security, economic reform, and institutional modernization. His administration has gained international attention for policies that have transformed El Salvador’s public safety landscape, significantly reduced crime, and introduced bold reforms in technology, infrastructure, and digital governance.

Bukele’s record-breaking approval rating not only reflects high satisfaction within El Salvador but also underscores his growing international profile as a symbol of effective governance in Latin America.
