Salvadoran Businesses Join 150 Global Companies at FIA 2025 in Mexico.

Two Salvadoran companies proudly represented El Salvador at the 4th International Agroindustrial Forum (FIA 2025), held from June 12 to 14 at CEART Mexicali, Baja California. The event, considered a key gathering for the Mexican agroindustrial sector, marked the first time the forum was held outside of Mexico City.

With support from El Salvador’s diplomatic mission in Mexico and the Consulate General in Tijuana, and coordinated through INVEST El Salvador, the companies DISARO and Tropical Agro S.A. de C.V. participated in the event. DISARO specializes in dairy production and distribution, while Tropical Agro focuses on the import and export of exotic products.

“El Salvador’s presence at FIA 2025 opened valuable opportunities for local businesses to promote their products and build commercial ties with Mexican enterprises,” said representatives from INVEST El Salvador.

FIA is organized annually by the National Chamber of the Transformation Industry (CANACINTRA) and the Secretariat of Agriculture and Rural Development. This year’s edition highlighted Baja California’s strategic role as a logistical and commercial bridge between Latin America and the United States.

The forum brought together over 150 companies, 27 embassies, and around 4,500 participants, including business leaders, academics, government officials, and investors. The event served as a dynamic platform for showcasing products, forging new partnerships, and promoting sustainable development in the agroindustrial sector.
