The Embassy of El Salvador in France recently supported the participation of five Salvadoran companies at VivaTech 2025, one of the world’s leading technology fairs held in Paris. The event gathers startups, tech leaders, investors, and corporations to explore the future of innovation.

El Salvador was the only Central American country represented at the event, thanks to the Ilamatepec project—an initiative backed by the European Union and supported by the Salvadoran Ministries of Economy and Tourism.
The participating companies—Erde Automation, Willdom, Pensertrust, Unplug Studio, and Visible—used the platform to introduce themselves to the European market. They showcased innovative technologies, including websites tailored for visually and hearing-impaired individuals, ensuring greater access to digital services.

During the event, the companies presented software solutions, applications, and digital platforms, while also engaging in forums, B2B meetings, and networking sessions. “This is a major step forward for Salvadoran innovation to gain visibility in the European tech ecosystem,” said a representative from the Salvadoran delegation.
