As part of its commitment to digital modernization, the Government of El Salvador, through Vice President Félix Ulloa Jr. and the Rector of ESIAP, certified 21 public servants from 9 government institutions in the Google Day workshop on the Use and Configuration of Google Cloud Platform.
In his speech, Vice President Ulloa emphasized the importance of enhancing human talent capacities to ensure high-quality state services. «We appreciate your effort, dedication, and commitment to education, understanding that this process is an investment of your time to acquire new knowledge,» stated Ulloa.
The Vice President also mentioned President Bukele’s recent meeting with Latin American business leaders, noting that El Salvador is positioning itself as a country that opens new opportunities by reducing bureaucracy and simplifying administrative processes to attract investment and drive development.
The strategic alliance between Google El Salvador has been crucial for the digitalization of the State and the modernization of public services, streamlining procedures across various institutions. In this context, ESIAP’s Executive Director, Mrs. Claudia de Larin, encouraged the participants to continue their technology training, reaffirming the School’s commitment to offering specialized programs with the support of strategic partners.
The workshop benefited representatives from key institutions, including the Ministry of Finance, the Attorney General’s Office, the Investment Promotion Agency, FOSEP, FOVIALITO, the Consumer Ombudsman, ISDEMU, and the Territorial Planning Directorate, all of which play a strategic role in technology.
Google El Salvador representative, Adrien Thomas Messiah, also participated in the event, reiterating the company’s commitment to supporting the country’s digital transformation. El Salvador continues to move toward a new era of innovation, solidifying its position as a model of technological transformation in the region.
