El Salvador Signs Cloud Services Agreement with Rumble.

San Salvador, January 11, 2025 – El Salvador has entered into a strategic partnership with Rumble, a leading Canadian company specializing in video platforms and cloud services. The Salvadoran government officially signed the agreement with Rumble on Friday, marking a significant step towards enhancing the country’s technological infrastructure.

Rumble will provide El Salvador with a range of cloud services, including cloud storage (object and block storage), cloud computing, databases, load balancers, and Kubernetes integration. Rumble’s president and CEO, Chris Pavlovski, emphasized that the agreement not only offers opportunities for innovation within the country but also represents a key growth moment for the company.

“This agreement marks an important milestone for Rumble, as it demonstrates that our infrastructure, capabilities, and reliability are trusted by governments to handle their most critical computing and data needs,” Pavlovski stated. He also highlighted the growing global demand for independence from major tech giants, a principle Rumble strongly upholds.

Stacy Herbert, director of the National Bitcoin Office (ONBTC), expressed optimism about the partnership, noting that Rumble’s values align with El Salvador’s commitment to freedom, innovation, and prosperity. “El Salvador represents freedom, innovation, and prosperity, and we are always looking at new frontiers. Like El Salvador, Rumble has embraced and defended these ideals,” she said.

The partnership was first discussed during a meeting between Pavlovski and President Nayib Bukele in September 2024, facilitated by Herbert. The announcement was made at the Max & Stacy Golf Invitational bitcoin event, underscoring the growing alignment between El Salvador’s vision and Rumble’s mission.

This collaboration is poised to further El Salvador’s technological development, as the country continues to strengthen its position as a hub for innovation and digital independence.
