Experience Santa Ana: Pedaleada SV Welcomes Families and Tourists to Join the Fun!

This Sunday, October 20, Santa Ana will host the much-anticipated Pedaleada SV, a vibrant cycling event designed for families and cycling enthusiasts. The event will kick off at 8:00 a.m. along a scenic 6.6-kilometer route stretching from the UNICAES roundabout to the El Sauce roundabout on Nicolás Salume Boulevard.

The Pedaleada has attracted up to 4,000 participants in previous editions, highlighting the community’s enthusiasm for outdoor activities. “This is a family event where everyone can join in—whether by bicycle, scooter, or skateboard. Pets are also welcome,” said Minister of Public Works Romeo Herrera.

For those interested in participating, pre-registration is available online at this link. Additionally, attendees who do not have bicycles can utilize those provided during the event.

Thanks to the generous support of private companies and public institutions, this event aims to foster community spirit and promote healthy lifestyles. Vice Minister of Transportation Nelson Reyes emphasized that, starting at 2:00 a.m. on the day of the event, there will be total restrictions on Nicolás Salume Boulevard. Attendees are encouraged to plan accordingly and use alternative routes.

Join in the fun this Sunday and be part of a celebration of community, fitness, and family!
