The Embassy of El Salvador in the United Kingdom recently participated in the #Juntos Latinx Leadership Summit 2024 hosted by Google, an event that brings together members of Latino/Hispanic Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). Tech giants like Google, Stripe, Microsoft, Blackrock, Snapchat, Expedia, Meta, and LinkedIn were also present at the summit.

Held at Google’s King’s Cross office in London, the event invited Salvadoran nationals residing in London to enhance their personal and professional branding or explore career opportunities in the tech sector.

During the summit, El Salvador’s diplomatic mission showcased the high-quality Café de El Salvador and presented the country’s tourism offerings through an immersive virtual reality video.

The event featured workshops, conferences, and training sessions led by professionals from top tech companies. Latino speakers from industry leaders like Snapchat and Meta also shared their experiences in the UK tech landscape.

In addition, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) led by members of the Latinx community were invited to offer their products and services. Civil society organizations and embassies had the opportunity to interact with the public, promoting their programs that support Latin Americans while also sharing their cultural heritage.

The day concluded with vibrant Latinx music, food, and celebrations, marking Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month.
