The U.S. Embassy in El Salvador has announced the launch of a new website designed to streamline visa application services for Salvadorans. The new platform, accessible at http://ais.usvisa-info.com, enables users to complete various visa-related procedures, including applications and payments.
Michael Garcia, Consul General at the embassy, emphasized the importance of using the official site. “Let’s let you know! Our new website for visa application services is now online. Don’t be fooled by other links!” he stated on the embassy’s X account.

In addition to the new website, the embassy has introduced a dedicated call center number, 2230-4894, for inquiries related to visa services. Authorities urged the public to be vigilant against scams and avoid unofficial channels or false advisors.
The updated system aims to enhance the efficiency and accessibility of visa services, allowing users to schedule appointments and make payments easily. Applicants can pay online using credit or debit cards or follow instructions on the website to obtain a unique payment identification number (PIN) for cash payments at authorized AirPak branches.
With these improvements, the U.S. Embassy seeks to provide a more user-friendly experience for Salvadorans navigating the visa application process.
