Presidential Family Celebrates Unity with Central American Flag Raising Ceremony.

On September 15, marking the 203rd anniversary of El Salvador’s independence, President Nayib Bukele and First Lady Gabriela de Bukele spearheaded a significant event: the Raising Ceremony of the Central American Flags. This ceremony underscored the spirit of brotherhood and unity among the nations of Central America.

The event featured the simultaneous raising of the flags of neighboring Central American countries alongside El Salvador’s, symbolizing regional solidarity. As the flags ascended together to the highest point, the ceremony radiated a powerful message of unity.

In a display of national pride, attendees sang the National Anthem with fervor. The ceremony also included a minute of silence to honor the memory of Salvadoran heroes who sacrificed their lives in service, their contributions being pivotal in achieving the peace and stability the nation enjoys today. The gathering concluded with the recitation of the Prayer to the Salvadoran Flag, paying tribute to the legacy of these courageous individuals.

The Presidential family’s leadership in this ceremony highlighted not only the celebration of El Salvador’s independence but also the enduring bond and collective aspiration shared with fellow Central American countries.
