The Embassy of El Salvador in Turkey continues to promote the country’s tourism potential on the international stage. In a recent meeting, Ambassador Héctor Jaime met with Cevat Engin Şahin, President of the Central Anatolia Regional Representation of the Turkish Association of Travel Agencies (TÜRSAB), which covers the provinces of Ankara, Çankırı, and Kırıkkale.

During the meeting, Ambassador Jaime highlighted key programs that showcase El Salvador’s rich tourism offerings, such as the renowned “Surf City” initiative. He also emphasized the country’s growing reputation as a host for world-class events.

Following this productive exchange, both parties agreed to establish regular information exchanges to promote and share El Salvador’s tourist attractions with member agencies of TÜRSAB, which are eager to expand their portfolio of international destinations.
