Salvadorans Can Enter Bolivia Without a Visa Starting Today.

The Bolivian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that, beginning June 21, Salvadorans will no longer need a visa to enter Bolivia. This change is reciprocal, allowing Bolivian citizens to enter El Salvador without a visa as well.

The visa exemption agreement, resulting from bilateral dialogue, strengthens the ties between the two countries and enhances the mobility of their citizens. Under the agreement, holders of ordinary passports can stay in the other country for up to 90 days for leisure, without engaging in remunerative activities.

Previously, Bolivians had to pay $100 for a visa, but this cost is now eliminated. El Salvador has also implemented similar visa exemptions with other countries, including Peru.
