The El Salvador delegation to UNESCO held a prominent event to promote Salvadoran specialty coffee to a multinational audience. In collaboration with Salvadoran entrepreneur Robert Franco, the exclusive Pacamara coffee was presented, originating from the Los 脕ngeles, Noruega, Etiop铆a, and La Fabiola farms in the Los Naranjos area.
During the event, held at UNESCO headquarters, a talented barista performed a live demonstration, delighting attendees with the process of preparing specialty coffee. The audience had the opportunity to appreciate the intense notes of red fruits and ripe fruit that characterize this coffee, known as El Salvador’s golden bean, cultivated in the Apaneca-Ilamatepec mountain range.
Such activities not only promote Salvadoran coffee but also strengthen the country’s image on the international stage, highlighting the richness and quality of its agricultural products. The presentation at UNESCO allowed attendees to experience firsthand the excellence of Pacamara coffee and to appreciate the hard work of Salvadoran coffee growers.
The event was a resounding success and demonstrated the potential of Salvadoran coffee to compete in the global specialty coffee market.
