In a show of diplomatic camaraderie, the Emirate of Qatar has extended warm congratulations to President Nayib Bukele on his successful reelection for the 2024-2029 term. Emir Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, who paid a visit to El Salvador in September 2023 and engaged in discussions with President Bukele, expressed his heartfelt wishes for the prosperity of the Salvadoran people under the continued leadership of the reelected president.
“His Highness, the Emir, congratulates His Excellency President Nayib Armando Bukele, President of the Republic of El Salvador, on the occasion of his reelection for a second presidential term, wishing him success in the performance of his duties, and to the friendly people of El Salvador, greater progress and prosperity,” the official government statement shared through its X platform.
Furthermore, a congratulatory message was also conveyed by Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, the Deputy Emir.
“His Highness, the Deputy Emir, extends his congratulations to His Excellency President Nayib Armando Bukele, President of the Republic of El Salvador, on the occasion of his reelection for a second presidential term,” the statement read.
