Dinner In The Sky will offer a culinary experience at 50 meters high in El Salvador.

Dinner In The Sky, a company that offers a unique gastronomic experience 50 meters high where guests can enjoy a gourmet dinner with views of the city, beach, or mountains, will join the country’s tourist offer starting in 2023, according to the presidential commissioner for Strategic Projects, Cristian Flores.

This project contemplates an investment of more than $800,000, promoting direct and indirect jobs through the hiring of Salvadoran catering, transportation, support teams, and logistics, among others, the commission reported.

The official announced this new investment in social networks after a recent meeting with representatives of the company, who visited the country as the first option to establish the operation in the region.

«The Dinner In The Sky project was born in Belgium 16 years ago and has traveled to different parts of the world, offering a unique gastronomic experience at 50 meters high. They foresee this experience in different parts of El Salvador. We will be the first country in the region to experience it,» added the official.

It was officially known that this new offer of gastronomic tourism will be in an itinerant mode, but the first experience is planned to be established in the Historic Center of San Salvador and later in Circuit I of Surf City.

Cristian Flores added that companies with innovative projects continue to arrive in the country «as part of President Bukele’s security achievements that allow a good investment climate.»

For his part, Raúl Domínguez, CEO of PR Media and investor in Dinner In The Sky, said that «it is a pleasure to be able to sit down with representatives of the government of President Nayib Bukele and work hand in hand on this new project.» Representatives of the Foreign Ministry and the Ministry of Tourism (Mitur) also participated in the meeting with the investor.

The guarantee of the physical integrity of customers is vital for Dinner In The Sky, all its platforms are designed in accordance with the international standard EN13814, while the products are manufactured in Belgium under the control of the Technical Inspection Association (TÜV, in German).

The special care for the safety of people is one of the reasons why Dinner in the Sky now operates in more than 60 countries and has obtained official authorization from the most rigorous countries in terms of citizen guarantees, including France, Canada, Australia, and Israel.
